Details here;- This was to be Nev D. ride out to Stanley Pub. However we would encourge any members available today to consider attending the Motorcycle First Aid workshop.
We want all AWMEC members to participate in this must-have knowledge.
I’m excited to announce an upcoming workshop that’s absolutely critical for every one of us: Motorcycle First Aid. This isn’t just any workshop—it’s a must-attend event that could make all the difference when we’re riding together.
Why You Should Attend:
- Life-Saving Skills: Learn how to respond effectively in case of an accident.
- Riding as a Pack: The more members who complete this course, the safer we all are. Knowing these skills can be the difference between life and death in those crucial first moments after an incident.
- Strengthening Our Community: This workshop will help us look out for each other and ride with more confidence, knowing we’re all prepared for any situation.
Workshop Details:
- Date & Time: 20th July 2025 SUNDAY [ Booking Agent will advise on further details ]
- Location: Albury-Wodonga [ Booking Agent will advise on further details ]
- Cost: $20 + booking fee (heavily subsidized by NSW Service, normally $98 )
- Club Reimbursement: The Management Committee, along with a unanimous vote by members, agree that this workshop is so important that the Club will reimburse you 50% of the workshop cost. Simply submit your receipt to your Treasurer, and you’ll receive your reimbursement.

I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for each and every one of us to take part. Whether you’ve been riding for years or are relatively new to the club, these are skills we should all have.
Please take the time to book in for this workshop. The more of us who are trained, the safer and stronger our club will be when we hit the road together.

| We invite any club members who are interested in volunteering for this role, provided they are committed to ensuring the equipment’s safety, careful use, and timely return.
If you’re willing to volunteer as the defibrillator carrier for any upcoming rides, please introduce yourself to the Website Editor and the Ride Captain before the event. This will allow us to coordinate the logistics regarding the equipment effectively. |
