Ride report for Sunday 16/11/2025
15 Riders departed from BBB on Sunday, some headed off for a coffee at the first departure from our planned route. However, we rode out of town via the freeway to Bona and up the Olympic Way to Gerogery.
It was plain riding then until the outskirts of Wagga. Around Red Hill Road till Kooringal Road and on to the Sturt Highway till Forest Hill, where the RAAF Base is located. After parking the bikes, it was into the Heritage building to have a look at the exhibits and outside for the planes on display. That was the easy bit. Down the road to the BP truck stop for lunch. Boy, that was worth waiting for!!!
So, we rode out almost the same way we came into Wagga and down the Olympic Way till Henty. It was here that our ride leader initiated a tour of Henty. With the assistance of some locals, the exit from Henty was sorted. Then onto Walla and Finally to Albury. A good day was had by all with no mishaps.
