The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is a vital not-for-profit organisation that delivers emergency aeromedical retrievals, primary healthcare, dental, and mental health services to people living in rural, remote, and regional Australia. Every two minutes, someone needs the Flying Doctor — reaching more than 330,000 Australians each year across vast distances where the nearest hospital can be many hours away.
AWMEC member Mark Clifford is taking on the Oceans to Outback 2026 fitness challenge in October to help keep the Flying Doctor flying.
